I Can Do Bad All By Myself
Are you going to see it? I love the play,
but the movie looks like it's going to
more poignant.
I am excited!
I saw the Movie and it was fantastic!!!!!!!!
Sorry I had to remove the pic, but could not control
sound on the blog.

Stay tuned- starting September 13, 2009. Want to join me? (I mean get up at the same time everyday and workout) If you are on FB, let me know.

Random: One of My Favorite Hits by MJ
So now I feel free to post something about MJ. I remember when to Pepsi Commercial Incident happened, my sister and I were hanging out over a friends house (or maybe we were just outside), when we heard the news. We started running from our house to the Shrine Auditorium where they were doing the shoot. Needless to say that he was gone by the time we arrived. We lived on 45th Street and the Shrine was just north of 30th.So Here is my favorite - I borrowed several stanzas from elyrics
"Man In the Mirror"
I'm starting with the man in the mirror
I'm asking him to change his ways
And no message could have been any clearer
If you wanna make the world a better place
Take a look at yourself and then make a change, yey
Na na na, na na na, na na na na oh ho
I've been a victim of
A selfish kinda love
It's time that I realize
There are some with no home
Not a nickel to loan
Could it be really pretending that they're not alone
A willow deeply scarred
Somebody's broken heart
And a washed out dream
(Washed out dream)
They follow the pattern of the wind ya' see
'Cause they got no place to be
That's why I'm starting with me

Super Short Story: You Came Home Today
A Letter To My SoldierWow, I can not believe it has been a year! You came home today. You are just as handsome as the day I met you two years ago. And even though you sent pictures of yourself after the accident, and then going through rehabilitation, and finally receiving your prosthetic leg: there was nothing like seeing you today. Mmm Baby, believe me when I say that you loosing your leg doesn't mean a thing to me, as long as you are alive. Thank God you are alive!
It's after midnight and you are sound asleep in our bedroom. I just had to get up, praise God one more time and write this short letter. I may show you this to you one day when we are old and gray, right now I just want to bask in this very moment.
When you wake up in the morning, I will fix your favorite; malt-o-meal, turkey sausage, and toast.

Who is cheering you on?

I am single. Some synonyms of single are "alone" or "lonely." I beg to differ. We are all a part of one another. And if we let Christ rule our lives, we do not have to be alone or lonely.
My cheering section: heaven, family, friends, co-workers, students, and "yes" even strangers. Why strangers you ask? Haven't you cheered someone on that you did not even know or pray for somone as you passed them on the road, I have.
So next time you are feeling alone or lonely, remember you have cheering section saying - Come on, you can do this, you can make it, I know that you can!

What to wear?
25 Strength and honor are her clothing; She shall rejoice in time to come. (New King James Version)
I inherently know that the 'damsel in distress' is ultimately not respected by her knight in shining armor', but more of a burden.
Years ago I wanted to be a DID, but secretly despised her, because she was weak and afraid of living out her potential.
There is something about possessing strength and wearing honor.
The reward is truly not seen in the beginning, but in time...
